As it is my birthday tomorrow, I thought I would have a lovely pamper session to feel birthday ready, so I thought I would talk you through this evening’s routine.
So, I started with wetting my hair and getting in a pre-wash conditioning mask. The one I used this evening was the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer, which is one of my favourites.
I then left this on my hair whilst I started on my face. I began with The Body Shop’s Camomile Cleansing oil to remove the days grime and my full face of make up. A cleansing oil is always so quick and easy, so would always be my preferred method of make up removal.
Then I go onto my second cleanse to give my skin a really good massage. For this I used my Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Melting Cleanser. This is a really different consistency to normal balm cleansers, it is more of a jelly and it feels great on the skin. So I gave my face a really good 5 minute massage then rinsed this off with a flannel and warm (probably slightly to warm, just because I love the feel, even though I know I shouldn’t – such a rebel!!) water.
After this I used my most loved face mask – this is definitely the mask I would keep if I could only keep one. Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask. This leaves my skin looking healthier, brighter and the fine lines are gone!! I leave this on for a good 5 – 10 minutes, then rinse with a flannel and warm (you can guess what happens here) water.
At this point I then jumped in the shower to rinse out the mask and wash and condition my hair and have a good exfoliation.
To moisturise my body I just used the Vaseline spray and go as I am really lazy when it comes to this, especially before bed.
Then back to the face – I used a good layer of the Sarah Chapman Overnight Facial and then Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturiser.
That is me all pampered up and ready to celebrate…I can’t wait.
