Every year more and more brands seem to come out with beauty advent calendars and it can be a little overwhelming knowing which one to chose. This year there seemed to be more than ever. I did a lot of research into all the different ones on the market place and there were some really good ones this year, along with the usual ones that I personally find a little disappointing (sorry to point fingers, but Selfridges advent calendar has been a bit of a let down this year.)
I found it quite easy to pick a favourite this year, not just for the great price, but also the amazing choice of products. The winner was Marks and Spencer’s beauty calendar and what a great job they have done.
Firstly the packaging – it looks just beautiful, I cannot wait to display this on the side when all the Christmas decorations go up. As you can see from the picture it is Christmas tree shaped advent calendar with individual boxes that pull out with the products inside. You could totally save and reuse it for another year, putting your own choice of treats in there.
The selection of products is fantastic, there are some of my old favourites in perfect miniature travel size. These including an Alpha-H Liquid Gold, an Emma Hardie Cleansing balm, Philip Kingsley Eleasticizer and a REN day cream. Plus some other amazing products I have had on my list to try such as the Rodial Super Acids X-treme Acid rush peel.
I won’t list every product as I don’t want to spoil the surprise for you, but some of the other brands include Skyn Iceland, Nuxe, Burts Bees, Nails Inc, Rosie for Autograph, Percy and Reed plus many more.
The price for this amazing advent calendar is only £35, providing you spent £35 on home, clothes or beauty in M&S. I bought some beauty products as they stock some really amazing skincare brands including all the brands mentioned above as well as Pixi, Cowshed, Eyeko, Glamglow and many more.
It came out for sale at the back end of this week and it will sell out very quickly, so if you are interested I would get ordering ASAP.Please specify a popup id
